The following competitions are usually arranged each year by the Club:

All of these competitions are conducted  under the Federation's round robin or Swiss system playing rules, as appropriate.  Results in the 2 championships  are taken into account in calculating FIDE ratings; and these and results in the swiss system tournaments are taken into account in calculating Hong Kong Chess Federation ratings.
